Robin Robinson has been braiding hair since the age of 15. A native of St. Louis, MO she decided to make a career as a professional hairstylist 20 years ago after leaving a job at Washington University when she realized that the request for her hair braiding services had become demanding due to her incredible speed and innovative creativity. After graduating from DuVardos Academy of Cosmetology in MO. in the late 80's She then moved to Minneapolis MN. to further her career. There she developed ROOTS a "posh" afrocentric concept salon that catered to the needs of the MN ethnic population in search of natural haircare. ROOTS gained notoriaty as a Twin City favorite two years in a row in Minneapolis/St. Paul magazine. Featured article in St. Paul Star and Tribune Newsprint. Ms. Robinson also obtained by request of the editor a full page interview in MODERN SALON Magazine. (Sept. 1999) Inside of her career as a Cosmetologist she has embraced the opportunity to travel and work along side many prominent Natural Hair care stylist in the eastern regions of the country. In 2005 apon her return to MO. She has added to her resume yet another project: SALON INDIGO. Which has now joined forces with Halo Salon & Spa.
The STYLIST
.Hope Lynn has always had a never ending passion for making people look and feel beautiful! While attending Howard University she started to fulfill her destiny by styling hair in the dorms. After completeing college she returned to her roots in MO. where she furtherd her education by attending The Grabber School of Hair Design in Ballwin, MO, obtained a professional liscence and then moved to Las Angeles Ca, where she then attended the Award Studio for Media Make Up Artistry. She also worked in one of THE top salons in Beverly HIlls. "My horizons were broadend and many doors were open. I began doing work for Television, Motion Picture films, Fashion show, Bridal Shows and Weddings."
Now since the return to St. Louis, MO, Hope has created and developed HALO SALON & SPA. A premier salon/spa in the heart of the newly developed downtown St. Louis Loft district. Hope has strategically developed a place where healthy hair, mind and body is a reality. "I beleive I have the power to be all I can in this industry as long as I can stay true to myself and what I beleive, nothing can stop me!"
